Goat Sausage and Feta Cheese Pizza
Bake on traditional or a cauliflower crust
I love pizza! I would say who doesn't but I am sure there is someone out there that has no interest in pizza. What do I crave when I am trying to eat healthy and be good? Pizza! I can enjoy a simple pepperoni pizza like the best of them but as a family our palates love a variety of toppings including using goat sausage to create a healthy meat alternative. Goat meat, of course, is lean. And goat sausage is super tasty. Add a little Feta cheese, onions, garlic, or sliced tomato to round out your favourite sausage pizza.
| Ingredients Olive oil spray 16-oz goat sausage 1 cauliflower crust pizza 4 tbsp pizza sauce 1/4 cup Feta cheese 1/4 cup pizza cheese blend 1/4 cup diced onions 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning | Cooking Instructions 1. In a pan, brown sausage, over low heat using olive oil spray, until meat is cooked through. 2. Spread tomato sauce, sprinkle feta cheese, pizza cheese blend, onions, 3-oz. sausage crumbles, and Italian seasoning on pizza crust. 3. Bake pizza crust per directions on the package. Yield: 2 servings |
